At SupplySide Global, Gateway Health Alliances president Shil Kothari will join a panel discussion focused on addressing metabolic and wellness gaps emerging in users of GLP-1 receptor agonists. The session will take place at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, on the Supplement Solutions Stage (Booth #957, Shoreline, Level 2).
The panel will explore how evolving consumer needs surrounding the GLP-1 phenomenon are inspiring innovation across categories—prompting developers to create healthy, natural solutions that support metabolic wellness and expand nutritional product opportunities.
Kothari said that while GLP-1 medications are powerful tools for appetite and glucose control, they leave important nutrition and metabolic wellness gaps unaddressed. He advocates for natural, clinically validated ingredients that modulate complementary pathways, including GLP-1, adiponectin, leptin, and insulin, to help consumers achieve lasting, balanced weight management.
“GLP-1s have changed the conversation around weight management, but they’re not the whole story,” said Kothari. “By supporting complementary pathways with natural, clinically validated ingredients, we can help people achieve sustainable, balanced results and shape a new era of holistic metabolic wellness.”
The discussion will highlight how science-backed natural ingredients can complement GLP-1 therapies, offering manufacturers actionable insights to develop effective, well-tolerated products that support long-term metabolic wellness.
